I love mainframes. I really do. A friend of mine uses two of them as emergency heaters (and he doesn’t even live in Washington state 🙂 ).
You know, there are farmers, and there are ranchers. And there is Bob, with his barn – ah factory. And Bob, Bob Howie is a really great VP of International Sales, learned his Sun Tsu, and works with a terrifying sales force. Have a look (from 360comedy on YouTube):
- The art of sale, lesson 1: Are you the decision maker of your housefold? Do YOU want to upgrade your 386 (to a 360)?
- The art of sale, lesson 2: Do YOU have 5 minutes and 5 million?
- The art of sale, lesson 3: Do YOU know your facts? Now, let’s check you skills.
The single most important attribute of the main frame is:
- Economics
- Security
- Energy efficiency
Pick one, or all of them.
HAHAHA!! I need a mainframe… er, factory… or something. To put my cows… or farmers into. And global warming — I support that too.
